The miso paitan was very flavorful, the noodles were a perfect texture and the broth was great as well. The gyoza was delicious. Definitely one of the better ramen places I've had in Boston. The interior is cozy and the wall murals are super cute as well!
Is you like ramen noodles then you're going to love this place. I've been coming for the last 5 years and they just recently put a new one near the encore casino in Boston. I'm a foodie and I have to say I'm kind of picky too but with that being said, this place has the best for Ramen noodles and broth is definitely on point compared to some other places I've been to. This place is pretty easy to find there's always parking can we go inside the place is very clean in the service is great. So if you ever in the Boston area this place is definitely worth the drive.
We visited Totto Ramen for the first time this past weekend and I was impressed with the Spicy Paitan Ramen I recieved. First off, it was actually spicy as stated. We've come across many ramens that were labeled as spicy that did not live up to its name. The broth was very tasty with this one and you can taste the black pepper in every bite. We additionally got the chicken karaage, takoyaki, and fried dumpling which were okay. Nothing special to say about them. The restaurant was pretty slow for a Saturday morning but we will visit again to try other dishes on the menu.
It's been quite some time since I dined around Allston. I actually like this ramen place. The restaurant itself is medium sized and had some anime art on the wall. You can also see what they're making right in for you from all angles. Service: She was very attentive and checked in on us at reasonable intervals. Ramen, flavorful and very filling. Not a huge fan of ramen, since I lived a life of cup ramen and pretty much that's my point of reference, but I'd definitely put this as my top picks for ramen joints. Drink: taught my sister about Asahi or was it Kirin, and she's not into Japanese beer, thanks!
Will always be in love with any bowl of noodles, but this bowl has my heart. I got the Spicy Paitan Ramen and it was perfect for a cold night like today. Their spicy oil went perfectly with the scallions, ramen, bean sprouts and nori. I highly recommend you get yourself a bowl of heaven because I swear it warms your soul with every bite
